Former 2-time WWE Tag Team Champions Return To NXT Tonight
WWWE NXT had always been known for its amazing tag team division, with multiple teams going on to become World Champions, either on the main roster or on other brands.
The show kicked off tonight with the return of a major tag team to the developmental brand after spending years in the division before making the move up to the main roster.
The team in question is none other than former 2-time NXT Tag Team Champions, Fraxiom. The team of Nathan Frazer and Axiom dominated the tag team division of the brand during their run in NXT.
Nathan Frazer made a surprise return to the black and silver brand a couple of weeks back and faced Romeo Moreno in the WWE Speed Championship number one contender tournament.
Fraxiom makes their WWE NXT return tonight
While Frazer lost to Moreno, Fraxiom had a chat with him and Noam Dar afterwards, and they set up this tag team clash. Fraxiom began the match on the front foot, and they showed their opponents why they’re considered one of the best tag teams in the promotion.
Dar and Moreno stopped Fraxiom’s high speed attacks with a huge Moonsault on the outside, which took out both Frazer and Axiom, but the former tag team champions came back into the match, given their superior experience.
Frazer was dominating Dar for a long time before a surprise attack from him allowed Moreno to tag himself in. He brought the momentum back to his team and put them on the front foot.

They almost got the win over Fraxiom after Axiom accidentally superkicked Frazer and was then taken out by Moreno. They hit their double team finisher on Frazer, but he kicked out at the last second.
They then took Dar out with a double superkick after he came at them with a dive from the top turnbuckle. Axiom then hit a Spanish Fly from the top to Moreno before knocking him out with a Superkick. Frazer then hit the Phoenix Splash on Romeo, allowing Axiom to pick up the win.
