First WWE RAW Superstar Declares For The 2026 Royal Rumble
The Royal Rumble is one of the most anticipated WWE Premium Live Events of the year. The event officially kicks off the Road to WrestleMania, and this year’s show is just around the corner.
The show will feature two high-stakes Royal Rumble matches, one for the men and one for the women, the winners of which will earn a World Championship match at WrestleMania 42.
Cody Rhodes became the first person to declare for the event last week on WWE SmackDown, and the first RAW superstar declared for the match tonight.
Gunther declared for the Royal Rumble on WWE RAW
The Ring General, Gunther, came out to the ring tonight in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he claimed that he is going to find his way back to the World Heavyweight Championship, and declared for the Royal Rumble.

He became the first RAW superstar to declare for the event but it remains to be seen if he competes in the match as he also challenged AJ Styles for a match on the show if the Phenomenal One puts his career on the line.
