First WWE Queen Of The Ring Finalist Emerges On RAW

With WWE Night of Champions only a few days away now, the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments gathered pace on Monday Night RAW, with two semi-finals clashes scheduled for tonight.

Raquel Rodriguez faced IYO SKY in the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring, while another Judgment Day member, Dominik Mysterio, is scheduled to face Oba Femi in the King of the Ring semi-finals.

The clash between IYO and Raquel kicked off the in-ring action on RAW tonight as both women gave it their all to earn a shot at a World Championship for SummerSlam.

The match began with the Genius of the Sky using her athleticism to her advantage and getting in the damage on Raquel before the Judgment Day member took control of the match using her superior size.

Raquel ragdolled SKY for the majority of the match and didn’t let IYO build momentum every time she tried to make a comeback into the match. The former Women’s World Champion tusseled with Raquel at the turnbuckle as she tried to advance.

She got free from Raquel’s grasp after smashing her head into the ringpost before hitting a massive Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Rodriguez, before following it up with the Over-the-Moonsault to advance to the final of the WWE Queen of the Ring.
