A number of NXT UK wrestlers have confirmed that they are no longer under contract to WWE.

Following the announcement that NXT UK will become NXT Europe in 2023 earlier today, there has been plenty of speculation that there will be releases incoming.

This has led to some stars of the British brand to confirm that they have been let go.

Taking to social media, former NXT UK Tag Team Champion Flash Morgan Webster confirmed that he had come to terms with WWE over his release.

As of today WWE and I have come to terms with the terms of my release.

I want to thank them for all the opportunities they gave me over last 5 years and looking after me through injury.

Excited to see what’s next
See you all soon.

This was also followed by Wild Boar confirming he was no longer with the company.

As of today I am no longer under contract with WWE. It’s been a wild experience and I’m thankful for everything it’s afforded me – I am excited for what’s next and I am BUZZING to get back in that ring and GO!

Former Tag Team Champion Mark Andrews has also confirmed that he has left the company, as have Ashton Smith and Jack Starz. Dave Mastiff’s Twitter account would also indicate that he has gone.

It’s likely that there will be plenty more announcements over the coming hours and days.

At this stage, there has been no official announcement for WWE as to who has been released from the brand.
