Final Spots In NXT Title Ladder Match To Be Decided Next Week

WWE NXT Championship NXT Title

Half of the field is set for the NXT Championship Ladder match set for next month’s first episode of NXT. Three of the six individuals set to take part in the ladder match have been confirmed following tonight’s episode.

Ricky Saints was announced as the first competitor to enter the ladder match last week, and did so without even having a qualification match. He was owed a rematch for the title before Oba Femi relinquished the belt, leading to this compromise being struck between Saints and Ava.

Tonight, two other superstars joined him in the match as Shiloh Hill defeated Josh Briggs to earn his spot, while Sean Legacy emergerd victorious in a battle between two former Evolve stars as he defeated Eli Knight.

Field for the NXT Championship Match will be set next week

The rest of the competitors will be decided next week on NXT as the remaining three qualifying matches were announced for next week’s show. One of the matches will see the in-ring debut of new NXT star, Keanu Carver.

He will take on Andre Chase for a spot in the ladder match. The other two matches will see Joe Hendry take on the WWE Evolve Champion, Jackson Drake and Dion Lennox face off against Myles Borne.

By the time next week’s episode comes to an end, all six competitors of the match will be confirmed for the title match. It’ll be interesting to see if Tony D’Angelo makes an appearance next week in the qualification matches, after he paid the price for his appearances tonight.
