This former WWE star was arrested for speeding.

This former WWE talent, who was recruited from their Next In Line (NIL) program, AJ Ferrari, finds himself in legal trouble due to an outstanding warrant he has in Nebraska.

Ferrari was reportedly arrested for attempting to run from the cops who allegedly pulled him over for speeding on January 9th.

The defense attorney alleged that the young upstart was pulled over on his way to Omaha, from where he was meant to catch a flight to Texas to attend to his previous legal issues. AJ Ferrari is set to appear in court again on February 17 as the case continues.

Ferrari was also charged with sexual battery in 2022 and faced legal consequences because of it. However, the case was dropped as the accuser claimed that she was being harassed online to come out with those claims.

AJ Ferrari was in WWE as part of their NIL program in 2021 but was later released by the company.

WWE NIL vs ID programs

AJ Ferrari was one of 15 athletes recruited from 13 universities. The athletes had access to the WWE’s performance center and resources to train.

WWE is currently running another program called the Independent Development (ID) program, which focuses on recruiting current active wrestlers from the independent circuit and sister promotions.
