Ex-WWE Star Blasts Triple H After Wrestlepalooza Snub
A former WWE star has taken aim at Triple H.
On September 20, WWE kicked off its new partnership with ESPN with Wrestlepalooza.
The event opened with a video package celebrating the history of the two companies individually before showing the several crossovers between them over the previous decades. However, the video came and went without a mention of Jonathan Coachman. The former announcer has worked for ESPN and WWE in the past.
In a post on social media, Coachman called out the snub while letting Triple H know he was less than impressed.
“The fact that me and my team didn’t make this package hurts us a little. We took Sportscenter to multiple Manias. We did Tuesday interviews from Smackdown for over 2 years. But at least anchors that don’t know anything about wrestling made it. Thank you TRIPS. LOL. To my 5 guys who rolled with me we know.”
Triple H Surprises Stephanie McMahon At Wrestlepalooza
During the show, The Undertaker made a surprise appearance to announce that Stephanie McMahon will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026. The Game later joked that his wife wasn’t impressed with him for keeping the news a secret.
Back to the action in the ring, and Stephanie Vaquer beat Iyo Sky to claim the Women’s World Championship. The victory capped off an impressive rise for Vaquer since she signed with WWE a little over a year ago. Since then, she’s won the NXT Women’s Championship, Women’s North American Championship, and now the World Title.
Meanwhile, AJ Lee picked up the win in her first match for a decade, teaming with CM Punk to beat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
There were also wins for Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, and The Vision.
