Ex-WWE & Current AEW Star Tay Melo Shows Off Incredible Body Transformation
AEW star Tay Melo has revealed her incredible body transformation.
Tay Melo first gained traction due to her time in WWE. After she was released from the sports entertainment juggernaut due to budget cuts, she moved to AEW.
Under the AEW banner, Tay has done well for herself. She was a regular feature on TV and even formed a tag team with Anna Jay. The duo has been in pursuit of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles ever since Tony Khan first introduced the belts. However, they have been unsuccessful in their efforts. Their last shot at the Women’s Tag Team Titles came when they challenged Megan Bayne and Lena Kross on the 6th June episode of AEW Collision. Since then, she has not competed on TV, leaving fans to wonder what happened to her.
Tay Melo recently took to social media to post before and after pictures of her recent body transformation. She captioned the post as follows:
“The most important thing you’ll ever train is your mind 🧠
When I lost control of my mind, everything else fell apart and that’s how I lost myself. Now, every day, I remind myself to focus on what I can control: my habits, my attitude, my effort, and the promises I make to myself.
I stopped waiting for motivation and started relying on discipline.🤍”

AEW denied Tay Melo’s release
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Tay Melo asked for her AEW release last year, but the company denied her request. As for her husband, Sammy Guevara, his AEW career is up in the air at the moment.
“Now, there was an incident, I had multiple people tell me about this over the last couple of days. There was something that happened about a year ago, and Tay Melo did ask for her release. And it was, she was not granted her release, but she did ask for it. And, you know, I think that, I don’t know when her deal is up. Maybe her deal is up soon, and so he also wants out. I don’t know if he actually wants out. He may just be trying to mess with people on Twitter, or he may actually want out. But what I can tell you 100% is he is still with AEW, his deal is not up, and he has not been released.” [H/T ITRWrestling]
“Nobody in AEW seems to know what’s up with Sammy Guevara right now. Multiple sources told me that Tay Melo requested a release last year but it was denied.
It’s expected we will know what’s up when everyone gets to TV tomorrow.”
