AJ Lee opens up about her WWE future.

AJ Lee is one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling. She was a key part of the women’s revolution and inspired the next generation of female athletes.

Although she stepped away from the ring for several years, fans were eager to see her make her return to the ring again. Last year, AJ returned to help CM Punk in his feud against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Lee’s second WWE run saw her compete in her first-ever WarGames match. She also ended up winning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Lynch. At WrestleMania 42, AJ Lee defended her title against The Man. After a hard-fought contest, it was Becky who emerged victorious. Since that loss, she has not competed on WWE TV and has stepped away from the company for the time being.

During the latest season of WWE Unreal, AJ revealed that her comeback was originally supposed to be her way of saying goodbye to her fans, but she then realized that she’s very good at what she does. Therefore, she is willing to see how far she can go.

“This comeback’s originally supposed to be the goodbye I never got to have with my fans. But then I realized, I’m still really f**king good at this. So… let’s see how far we can go.”

AJ Lee makes a shocking revelation about her WWE contract

During a recent appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, AJ Lee revealed that she didn’t think she was going to make a comeback because she wrapped up her career perfectly. However, seeing how the business had evolved over the years changed her mind.

“Did I ever think I was gonna come back? Oh, no. I think I was kind of wrap stuff up in such a perfect bow, it just felt like I didn’t wanna tarnish that in a way and it felt so completed, I didn’t feel like I had anything left to do, and then seeing how the business evolved, I kind of saw it, like, when you’re a senior in high school and you graduate, you’re like, ‘I hope those freshmen have better teachers. I hope they get a field…’

You don’t expect it for you. So it was just an extra wonderful surprise and a treat to be like, ‘Oh! I get to hang out with this new class? That’s awesome.’”

It remains to be seen when AJ Lee will make her next WWE appearance.
