Former WWE star Steph De Lander and her husband, Mance Warner, have quit TNA.

2026 was supposed to be a turnaround year for the Nashville-based promotion, having secured a record broadcast right on TMC.

However, the turn of the year saw the departure of wrestlers such as Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, and Zachary Wentz. It was followed by Killer Kelly ending her 4-year tenure with the company.

More recently, The IInspiration duo of Cassie Lee and Jessie McCay left and joined AEW.

The case of Steph De Lander is quite odd, considering she was recently cleared for in-ring return after 2 years away. However, a report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select revealed that TNA refused to clear the former WWE star, stating that she would never be allowed to compete under the banner.

The Australian wrestler also announced that she would be accepting bookings from April 1.

Despite the report claiming that the couple has quit TNA, others have claimed that they will complete their upcoming obligations before leaving.

Kayla Braxton Reveals Why She Left WWE

Backstage interviewer and host Kayla Braxton left WWE in 2024.

During a recent taping of Busted Open, she revealed that she had noticed signs and chose to be proactive and quit rather than forcing the company to become the bad guy.

That’s kind of when I decided to step away – The Bump was done. I wasn’t hosting the Kickoff shows anymore, they brought in Jackie Redmond, who’s freakin’ phenomenal and she deserves every part of that decision that she has.

And everything was switching over in WWE obviously. So I could kind of see the writing on the wall. I knew I wasn’t gonna be happy going back into that, showing up, grueling travel, to maybe get one pre-written interview.

My creativity was stifled, I wasn’t allowed to do any outside projects. And as a woman, I’m getting a little older. I’m not gonna wake up in five more years and still be stuck doing this when I have these other things that I wanna be doing. So that ultimately was the reason to walk away, and the company was really supportive of it.

Or they were just like, ‘Thank god she’s leaving and we don’t have to be the bad guys.’
