Ex-WWE Star Makes Unexpected Reveal About Triple H’s Bachelor Party
A former WWE superstar shared an interesting story about Triple H’s participation at his own bachelor party.
Maven worked for WWE from the time he won the first-ever Tough Enough TV show in 2001 until his release in July 2005.
Over the years, Maven revealed that he could have returned a few years later, but it didn’t happen.
In recent years, Maven launched a YouTube channel that has been very successful. In multiple videos on the channel, Maven has made it clear that WWE Hall of Famer and current Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, didn’t want Maven to receive a push.
The former 3-time WWE Hardcore Champion, Maven, also remarked that Triple H marrying Stephanie McMahon was convenient, since the former WWE owner, Vince McMahon, is Stephanie’s dad.
On a recent YouTube video titled “Why I Hate Triple H,” Maven spoke about how attending Triple H’s bachelor party before his October 2003 wedding to Stephanie McMahon was a mandatory thing.
“I remember when he and Steph were about to get married, the company actually forced us to go to his bachelor party. And you’re saying, Maven, how did they force you to go to his bachelor party? Here’s how.
We would fly in on Friday, wrestle three non-televised house shows, then on Monday night, do Monday Night Raw, and fly home every Tuesday. That was how it was week after week.
Well, the company decided to have Triple H’s bachelor party on a Tuesday night in a North Carolina strip club, and they conveniently made sure our flights were for Wednesday. We had to go.”
Triple H Barely Showed Up To His Own Bachelor Party
The bachelor party story continued with Maven revealing that the WWE superstars attended Triple H’s bachelor party, but The Game himself was very late to show up.
“I can’t remember anyone not showing up. Why? Well, of course, I was there cuz I like strip clubs, but most of the guys were there because they just didn’t want to be the one that didn’t show up to Triple H’s bachelor party.
Well, actually, there was one guy that didn’t show up. Who would that guy be? Triple H himself. We were in the club the entire night, and Triple H would show up the last 20 minutes before closing time.”
Maven went on to question how many guys actually wanted to attend Triple H’s bachelor party.
“Now, I don’t know how many guys would have came to his bachelor party if they would have just extended an invitation, but I guarantee you and I know for a fact it would not have been as many as they had since they were flying us out the next day. Hell, he didn’t even want to be there. Why the hell would I want to be there?” (H/T Ringsidenews)
Even though Triple H was just a wrestler when Maven was there in the 2000s, The Game had a lot of influence due to his marriage to Stephanie McMahon. Hunter also worked closely behind the scenes with his father-in-law, Vince McMahon, and that led to Levesque becoming WWE’s Head of Creative as the Chief Content Officer.
