Ex-WWE Star Prefers Paul Heyman’s Wrestling Mind Over Vince McMahon

Paul Heyman

The “Wise Man” Paul Heyman’s mind for professional wrestling is superior to Vince McMahon’s, according to a wrestling legend.

Sabu will always be remembered in pro wrestling as one of the biggest risk-takers and daredevils there has ever been. While Sabu had stints in places like WCW, TNA, WWE for two years and independent promotions all around the world, Sabu will always be remembered as an ECW legend.

During his run in ECW, Sabu was a two-time World Champion while also winning the TV and Tag Team Titles. The man who was calling the shots in ECW as the booker and later the owner of the company was WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.

It is no surprise that Sabu has a fondness for Heyman. In an interview with DonutShopChronicles365 on YouTube, Sabu spoke about Heyman’s wrestling mind while comparing it to former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who ran the biggest wrestling company of all time for over 40 years.

“He’s good to work for, sort of. Work with, not work for. He’s great to work with. He’s a genius and has the best mind in the business than anybody. He had a better mind than Vince.

When I wrestled for him, he didn’t have the money to pay us. I don’t hold that against him no more. He didn’t have it. If he had the money to pay us back then, he would’ve.”

Paul Heyman Believes In The Bloodline

Over the last four years, Paul Heyman has been a key part of WWE’s storyline involving The Bloodline group led by Roman Reigns. While Heyman has been beside Reigns on-screen, Heyman also plays a big role behind the scenes as somebody who has produced many segments involving the group.

Recently, Paul Heyman claimed that The Bloodline has become the most significant and lucrative story in wrestling history.

“The money-drawing years of The Horsemen weren’t this long, the money-drawing years of the nWo wasn’t the long, the money-drawing years of Austin vs. McMahon wasn’t this long. Hogan vs. Savage, Hogan vs. Piper, which put Wrestlemania 1 on the map.

“So, just in terms of overall storytelling and constant ebb and flow of affecting other people’s environment on the roster and how they tell their stories, I suggest it’s the most significant. It’s the biggest money-drawing, it has the most longevity, it has held the most interest, and overall it has done so by being the most intriguing and compelling because at every turn you see the characters not just turn towards what the story calls for, but the long-term effects of the development of these characters and the evolution of these characters is never lost on us.

“So if something happens that changes Roman Reigns in 2022, we don’t disavow knowledge of it in 2024. It plays into what’s happening in 2024. Because of that, and because we keep it consistent, I would have to rank it Number 1. All false humility aside.”

Paul Heyman was a key part of WWE Survivor Series WarGames when he struck a deal with CM Punk to team with Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn in the Men’s WarGames match. That team went on to win the match while Punk has said that he only agreed to it because of a deal he had with Heyman. What that deal is about is not known, but it should be revealed in the weeks and months ahead.
