El Hijo Del Vikingo Injured, Pulled From Major Independent Show

El Hijo del Vikingo

Despite reports that he was not planned to miss any appearances, El Hijo del Vikingo has been pulled from an upcoming show.

On August 12, El Hijo del Vikingo defended his AAA Mega Championship against Daga, Jack Cartwheel, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey at AAA Triplemania XXXI CDMX. While he successfully retained the championship, reports emerged that he had fainted backstage after the bout and was taken out of the venue on a stretcher.

PWInsider later reported that the star had not been feeling well earlier in the day and also that he was dehydrated and hadn’t eaten enough, but that he would ultimately be fine. At the time, it was expected that he wouldn’t be missing any upcoming appearances.
