El Grande Americano’s Future Following Chad Gable’s Return Revealed
Chad Gable is scheduled to return to WWE programming soon.
Gable was the original El Grande Americano before Ludwig Kaiser took over from him. While this might pose a problem, the company seemingly has contingencies in place.
Due to him having suffered a legitimate injury, Gable was written off TV during a Raw episode, where Penta snapped his arm while it was in a sling.
The following month, he underwent surgery. Meanwhile, Kaiser donned the luchador mask and appeared in WWE and AAA without either company acknowledging his original identity.
After being on the sidelines for more than half a year, Chad Gable reportedly returned to the Performance Center.
While no official date has been announced for his return, fans have asked questions about what will happen to Kaiser’s version of Americano.
El Grande Americano And Chad Gable Headed For A Collision Course?
A report by WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select states that WWE is planning Chad Gable’s return at the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
In the meantime, El Grande Americano has existed, albeit as another individual under the mask. As a result, the company is not planning on removing the mask from Kaiser anytime soon.

Kaiser’s El Grande Americano recently turned babyface at Guerra de Titanes. Subsequently, several reports claimed that Chad Gable may be introduced as a top heel in AAA Lucha Libre, sending both individuals on a collision course.
At the same time, WWE is not keen on letting go of Tyler Bate’s Rayo Americano and Pete Dunne’s Bravo Americano either.
This will possibly set a 3-vs-3 feud, with Chad Gable reuniting with the Creed Brothers, setting up an AAA storyline.
With all eyes now on the upcoming Royal Rumble, fans will expect Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser’s Americano to take the ring at the same time.
