Dominik Mysterio’s Real-Life Relationship With Liv Morgan Revealed
Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan have shared great chemistry on screen.
Their journey, though, was not a smooth-sailing one, as Mysterio was involved with Rhea Ripley when Morgan walked into the picture in mid-2024.
To this day, fans debate whether Morgan’s interest in him was genuine or an obsession.
All their backstage segments made exciting TV for the fans, despite how uncomfortable Dominik Mysterio looked while interacting with her.
At one point, she even engaged with his social media account by liking all his posts on Instagram.
Despite once viciously turning her down on SmackDown and making her cry, Mysterio aligned with Morgan at SummerSlam 2024 by helping her retain her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley.
There have been rumors of WWE trying to split them, but those plans were seemingly ditched, and for the better.
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio have been like a house on fire. It’s something that the 29-year-old wrestler recently reflected on during an interview with PAPER Magazine.
When asked how his real-life relationship with Morgan was, Mysterio had only positive things to say.
Man, she’s the absolute best. She brings out the best in everybody because she’s always just so positive, very encouraging, honestly, just a joy to be around and absolutely blessed to be able to work with her. I started off with Rhea Ripley, went on to Liv Morgan. Two of the best of the best. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Liv, and I hope that we stay together. We work for a reason. There’s lots of gold around the Judgment Day, and it’s thanks to her.
WWE Push Surprised Dominik Mysterio
Turning heel in WWE was one of the best decisions made for Dominik Mysterio.
After fighting alongside his father, Rey Mysterio, since his debut, Dominik turned heel at Clash at the Castle in 2022 by attacking Edge and Rey.
He subsequently joined The Judgment Day, of which he is a part to this day. Mysterio held the Intercontinental Championship until March 2, when he lost it to Penta. He currently serves as the Mega Champion in AAA Lucha Libre.
During the interivew, he was asked about the responsibility entrusted on him at such a young age by the Stamford promotion. In response, he admitted that even he was surprised to be placed in that spot.
Yeah, that definitely surprised me. I didn’t expect it, and I didn’t know I had the company’s trust. I’m a soldier for the company when it comes to WWE. This is where I’ve been my whole life, since I was 8 years old. Not only that, but the people that I’ve wrestled, like Randy Orton’s first match back after back surgery. I was his first match back. And CM Punk.
They trust me with guys like John Cena on his retirement tour and AJ Styles during SummerSlam, right before he took off. He retired that same year as well. Looking back at it now, it’s super cool and surreal to see that they trusted me with all these opportunities with such big names.
