Dominik Mysterio Alleges He Got Scr*wed At WWE WrestleMania 42: “This Is Not Fair”
Dominik Mysterio is not happy with how things went down at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.
The Judgment Day betrayed Finn Balor and kicked him out on the 9 March episode of RAW. Following this, Balor challenged Dominik Mysterio to a match at The Show of Shows.
During the WrestleMania 42 Kickoff Show, Adam Pearce announced that Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor will now face off in a Street Fight.
Finn returned to his ‘Demon’ persona for the first time in three years. After some back-and-forth in the match, The Demon put Mysterio onto a table and hit the Coup de Grace for the win.
Dominik Mysterio calls out Adam Pearce after WrestleMania match
Dirty Dom has now opened up about the bout and said he got scr*wed at ‘Mania.
Speaking to Jackie Redmond during the WrestleMania post-show interview, Dominik didn’t try to hold back his thoughts. He directly called out RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and questioned the decision that led to the change.
Are you kidding me, Jackie? First of all, I wasn’t even supposed to wrestle the Demon. I was supposed to wrestle Finn Balor. It was in the contract: Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio. Then Adam Pearce went over and added all these stipulations with the Demon, and now with the Street Fight. Are you kidding me? This is uncalled for. This is not fair. I need to go find The Judgment Day. I need to go talk to Adam Pearce,” Dom said.
Dominik made it clear that he had signed up to face Balor, not The Demon, and adding a Street Fight stipulation only made things worse for him. In Dominik’s eyes, that combination played a big role in the result.
With RAW after WrestleMania coming up, it will be interesting to see what Dominik does next and whether this issue turns into something bigger.
