Current WWE Champion Reportedly Has Legit Backstage Heat
A current champion in WWE might not be well-liked backstage in the company, and given the past 24 hours on social media, that will be no surprise.
A quick glance at X/Twitter will no doubt have WWE fans coming across an increasingly heated exchange between WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, and Piper Niven. And as Americans might have become aware on social media in the last week or so, coming for Scottish people is not advised.
Chelsea Green made a comment about Rhea Ripley being well respected, to which Ripley’s WrestleMania opponent, Cargill, replied in mocking tones. Piper Niven entered the chat. Any dignity that the WWE Women’s Champion might have hoped to escape the exchange with ended when Niven promptly told her to “Lick my ring ya boot.” In Mortal Kombat terms – Fatality.
Jade Cargill Not Well Liked In WWE?
And it seems that there might be many WWE stars who share Niven’s sentiment that Cargill should “lick their rings” as well.
During a Q&A session, WrestleVotes noted that there appears to be real animosity towards Cargill in the WWE locker room:
As far as the reputation in the locker room, I’ve heard from a couple of different sources that there’s heat there. Not everyone’s favourite talent. She’s still a star — WWE clearly views her as a star. They’re protecting her and not throwing her into situations where she can’t succeed. But… we’ve heard that some talent may not.
Jade Cargill has notably been in matches in recent months where Tiffany Stratton, Michin, and B-Fab have all emerged with injuries. Whether this has anything to do with the star’s reported locker room heat remains unknown.
