Cody Rhodes Thinks This WWE SmackDown Star Is Special
Cody Rhodes is speaking praises about a WWE SmackDown star.
The American Nightmare had a memorable outing at SummerSlam, as he defeated John Cena in the main event on Sunday to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Rhodes is now in his second reign as the world champion.
The 40-year-old superstar hosted the latest episode of ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?‘ with Jelly Roll as the guest.
The Grammy-nominated singer recalled an incident with SmackDown star Jacob Fatu while preparing for his tag team match at SummerSlam.
Jelly said Fatu took bumps for him, which encouraged Cody Rhodes to shower praises on The Samoan Werewolf.
I met him at All Pro Wrestling (APW) show in San Francisco. I knew right away who he was, and we just started ‘Uso’ing each other cos I had been around Jimmy and Jey throughout my whole first run with WWE. But yeah, Jacob’s really special. He feels like a little baby here that I just wanna make sure everything is right, you know? I know everyone here’s incredibly impressed with Jacob, too. [1:05:27 onwards]
Jacob Fatu Launches Vicious Attack On MFTs At WWE SummerSlam
Jacob Fatu faced MFT leader Solo Sikoa for the United States Championship at SummerSlam in a cage match.
Sikoa’s faction members, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa, interfered in the match, costing Fatu the championship.
After the match, Jimmy Uso trapped Mateo and Tonga Loa inside the cage with Fatu.
The 33-year-old then launched a vicious attack on the MFT members, setting them up for his Mighty Moonsault.
Fatu stopped as he reached the top of the rope and proceeded to climb the top of the cage.
As Mateo and Tonga Loa found their feet, Fatu launched off the top of the cage, perfectly executing the Mighty Moonsault for a loud pop from the crowd at MetLife Stadium.
