Cody Rhodes might not have been successful at WrestleMania 39 but another title match could be in his future as a report notes he’s set to be part of Money In The Bank.

For the first time ever, Money In The Bank will take place outside of the USA with the landmark show coming to The O2 Arena in London, England. This follows up on the success of the Clash at the Castle event WWE produced in Cardiff, Wales in September 2022.

WWE recently confirmed that qualification matches for the Money In The Bank ladder matches will take begin on the 29th of May edition of Raw although no participants have yet been announced, although a report has indicated one star is set to be involved in the ladder match itself.

WRKD Wrestling has reported that Cody Rhodes looks set to be part of the men’s Money In The Bank match when the eponymous event takes place on the 1st of July:

“Nearly winning it ten years ago back in 2013, Cody Rhodes is expected to return as a competitor in the Money In The Bank match this year in London, England.”

In 2013, Cody Rhodes and Damian Sandow entered the Money In The Bank match as tag team partners. As the match wore on, the hard work put in by Rhodes began to endear him to the crowd who in the end were cheering on the previously hated star to win the bout. He nearly did only to be literally crawled over by his partner Sandow who won the match.

That was not Rhodes’ first appearance in a Money In The Bank match as he appeared in the bout four times between 2010 and 2013.
