Cody Rhodes’ Ex-Girlfriend Sets One Condition For WWE Return
Cody Rhodes has been happily married to his wife, Brandi Rhodes, since 2013. They have two beautiful daughters. Before this, Rhodes was in a private relationship with former WWE Divas Champion Layla.
Speaking in a recent interview with Sportshadow Wrestling, Layla revealed that she dated Cody Rhodes because she knew he had the potential to become a big star.
During the interview, she also talked about her potential return to WWE. Layla stated that there is only one thing that could make her return to WWE, and it is a LayCool reunion.
During her stint in WWE, Layla was involved in a storyline with Michelle McCool, where they were part of the famous LayCool faction. It was a highly successful heel women’s faction that became a dominant focal point in the women’s division from 2009 to 2011.
“Well, for one, I’m so out of shape. Two, I don’t want to break a hip or something. The only thing I think that I would ever consider or think about doing is if I would do a LayCool reunion. That’s it. If it’s Michelle and I, then I’ll do it. Like, before it was always a no, but now it’s like why not? If it happens and if WWE decides that that’s something they would want to do, yeah, I would do it I think.”
Layla Dream Matches In WWE After Potential Return
Layla also stated that if she does return to WWE, she would like to have a program with Chelsea Green because she finds the diva hilarious. She added that she would also like to face Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss if and when she returns to WWE.
“There was, at first, it was, I was solely like said Chelsea Green because I thought, that, that was, that she’s hilarious and she’s such a diva. I think that would be great. And then but now I’m thinking that like Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, like I think that would be, that would be, I think that would be a cool match.”
