CM Punk Pays Visit To Injured WWE Star

CM Punk took some time to show some support to a WWE superstar who recently had a major surgery.

Ever since CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series in Chicago, he seems to be in good spirits while being “back home” in WWE. Punk is exclusive to the Raw brand, but he’s also appeared on SmackDown and NXT.

There have even been reports that Punk spent some off days at the WWE Performance Center during a set of tapings and other days where Punk was there to advise the NXT wrestlers.

At the NXT Deadline PLE in December, CM Punk was on hand and took a photo with NXT’s Cora Jade while also filming a video with her. What was special about that is that in WWE’s DVD about CM Punk from over a decade ago, Jade was a teenager that looked up to Punk and her dad spoke about how Punk’s Straight Edge lifestyle was a big influence on her.

Unfortunately for Cora Jade, it’s been a rough start to 2024 because she suffered a serious knee injury during a NXT live event. Jade had surgery to repair her Torn ACL in her left knee earlier this week. Charlotte Flair also had surgery to repair her ACL earlier this month as well.

CM Punk And Friends Support Cora Jade

Since the Royal Rumble is in the Tampa area, it appears as though CM Punk got to Florida early and perhaps spent some time training at the WWE PC in Orlando. Punk also went to visit Cora Jade after her left knee surgery.

Cora Jade posted some photos on Twitter/X with CM Punk on hand along with NXT superstars Jacy Jayne & Roxanne Perez. Fans of NXT know that Jade & Perez have feuded in the past, but they are close friends that came up in the business together.

As for CM Punk, he has his first televised match in WWE in ten years this coming Saturday, January 27th at the Royal Rumble. Punk has beaten Dominik Mysterio at two WWE live events in late December, but he hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV yet and he’ll do that as a major favorite to win the Royal Rumble match.
