CM Punk lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42 on Sunday.
Punk gave it his all against the Tribal Chief. However, he came up short in his duel. Following his title loss, he had a hard time getting up and heading backstage. A fan camera caught him struggling to get back on his feet post-match.
In the video, Punk’s boots appear to get stuck in the ring apron skirt, which causes him to collapse to the floor repeatedly while trying to stand. Check out the fan footage below.

CM Punk Earns Roman’s Respect After WrestleMania Duel
After defeating the Second City Saint to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns appeared on the post-show panel, where he shared his experience of facing CM Punk. He stated that competing against Punk on the Grandest Stage of Them All made him respect him, despite his hatred for the former champ.
“The fact that I’m the Tribal Chief and I still hear people out here chanting for CM Punk, I have to respect that. Do I respect the man and his personal life? I don’t know. But when it comes to when he steps into the arena when the rings set up, I have a lot of respect for the man that shows up and performs for these people because he puts his heart and soul on the line.
Do we see eye to eye hell no? Are we cut from the same fabric? Hell no. But we’re part of the same fraternity, so if you can go out there and main event and put it on the line and actually hold your own. CM Punk didn’t just run his mouth he backed it up, he just ran into a better man tonight.”
