Charlotte Flair Involved In Backstage Incident After WWE Clash In Italy
Charlotte Flair was attacked following her actions at WWE Clash in Italy.
The WWE Women’s Title was on the line at Clash in Italy on May 31st as Rhea Ripley defended the gold against Jade Cargill.
It was a WrestleMania rematch since Ripley beat Cargill for the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 42.
Ripley and Cargill had a very good, competitive match that went back and forth. Late in the match, Cargill’s buddies Michin & B-Fab went to ringside to get involved. At one point, B-Fab even helped Cargill on a pin attempt, although B-Fab was a bit slow with it.
Charlotte Flair made her presence felt when she showed up at ringside to support Ripley as she took out Cargill and B-Fab. Flair even helped Ripley on a kickout as well. Ripley went on to win with a Riptide.
After Clash in Italy, WWE’s Cathy Kelley interviewed Charlotte Flair in a video posted on social media. Flair said everything with Rhea was fine, but that’s when Jade Cargill showed up and hit Flair with a forearm, sending her into an equipment case. Cargill followed up with punches, while B-Fab and Michin were by Cargill’s side. WWE Officials quickly arrived to break it up.
Alexa Bliss reacted on social media with this message: “Y’all messed up. 😡 No one touches @MsCharlotteWWE.”
Rhea RIpley shared her thoughts too: “Yo…WTF!”

Charlotte Flair Looking To Rekindle Rivalry With Becky Lynch
When discussing Charlotte Flair’s legendary WWE career, which has lasted 11 years on the main roster, her greatest rival is arguably Becky Lynch.
During a recent A&E documentary about the Flair-Lynch feud, The Queen spoke about the incredible history she has with Lynch, her former best friend, and how she feels like there could be mroe to the rivalry in the future.
“It’s incredible that Becky and I have this platform to talk about the incredible rivalry that we had due to the pivotal moment in the business for women, for us, and what we mean to each other’s careers.”
“There wouldn’t be ‘The Man’ without ‘The Queen,’ and there wouldn’t be ‘The Queen’ without ‘The Man.’ I don’t think it’s over. I think this is just the beginning. If they’re a new fan, they’re just getting a taste of what Becky versus Charlotte looked like. But to me, it’s like, no, I want to see what’s next.”
While a Flair-Lynch rivalry could continue down the road, the immediate future will see Flair battling Cargill in the Queen of the Ring tournament, and perhaps a singles match in the future.
