Chaos Reigns After NXT Title Qualifier As Tony D’Angelo Lays Everyone Out
An exciting night of NXT action is in store for the fans tonight, with two qualifying matches for the six-man ladder match to determine the new NXT Champion scheduled for tonight.
The night kicked off with Ethan Page’s defense of his North American championship, which was followed by the first of two qualifying matches slated for tonight.
Shiloh Hill, who was unsuccessful in his attempt to win the TNA International Championship last week, took on Joshua Briggs as they competed for a spot in the ladder match on the February 3 episode of NXT.

Hill and Briggs wrestled a hard-hitting match between the two as they pushed each other to their limits. Briggs remained in control for large parts of the match, forcing Shiloh Hill to stage a comeback.
Briggs ultimately put a stop to Hill’s comeback after he struck him with a big boot and followed it up with a huge chokeslam. It seemed as if he’d won the match there, but Shiloh Hill kicked out in the nick of time.

He then went up to the top rope to seal the win with a moonsault, but Hill got out of the way and capitalized on Briggs’ miss and hit him with a big neckbreaker to qualify for the ladder match. However, both of them were brutally attacked by Tony D’Angelo after the match, who walked away without any explanation.
