Bryan Danielson Now In Creative Role In AEW

Bryan Danielson

With Collision on the horizon for AEW, a new report has noted that Bryan Danielson – in addition to his menacing duties as part of the Blackpool Combat Club – will be working with the promotion’s creative team.

On the 17th of May, AEW announced that the long-rumored Collision show will debut on June 17th and air on TNT live every Saturday night. The show was believed to be the new home in the company of former AEW World Champion CM Punk but that situation appears to have hit a last-minute snag.

Fightful Select has now reported that with more TV time to fill, Bryan Danielson will be helping the company’s creative team with the new show. It was noted that Danielson filled the same kind of role when he was with WWE and the report states that those who worked with him in this role only had “great things to say” about the star.

Tony Khan continues to have the final say on all creative matters but he also has Pat Buck, Sonjay Dutt, QT Marshall, and Will Washington assisting with Marshall and Dutt said to be “contributing heavily.” AEW coaches Jerry Lynn and Dean Malenko as well as Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels are also said to pitch in with creative input.
