A while ago, Bruce Prichard was called out by wrestling fans over an incident of ‘bullying.’

The incident occurred after Season 1 of WWE: Unreal aired on Netflix. In one of its episodes that covered Raw’s Netflix debut, Prichard could be seen appearing frustrated with fellow producer Chris Park, fka Abyss.

The 62-year-old was livid that the show ran for more than the initially scheduled time and that the CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins main event match was overproduced.

Park was seen profusely apologizing to Prichard and later being comforted by others in the Gorilla Position.

Many fans called out Bruce Prichard for the ill-treatment of one of the industry veterans and a beloved figure. Months after Season 1 of Unreal aired, he has decided to respond.

Bruce Prichard Feels Sorry For His Critics

Bruce Prichard defended his actions towards Chris Park on WWE: Unreal during a recent episode of the Something To Wrestle podcast.

Prichard called Park a wonderful human being while claiming that it was also important to communicate in time due to the nature of the business.

If you are in a situation, man, and you’re at a point, you’re asking a question, you’re not getting an answer, or I’m not getting the answer that I need. If I ask you what time it is, I don’t want to get the history of watchmaking, I want to know what time it is. If I ask you, how much time do we have left, I don’t want to hear we’re getting close. Just need a number. Tell me, help me.

He also took a dig at his critics who accused him of bullying park, saying that anyone who thought that was the case has never worked in live broadcast.

So anybody that takes that for being a bully or anything else, you’ve never worked in live television, and you’ve never worked in real life, and if everything has to be sugar-coated for you, I feel really sorry for you. Because life’s tough, and in order to make it sometimes, man, you got to be able to take it or get out.
