A WWE Hall of Famer with close ties to NXT thinks Bron Breakker could use another year on the brand.

It was in September 2021 when the NXT brand had a reset of sorts when it became NXT 2.0 featuring a whole lot of younger wrestlers, many of whom were making their national television debut at the time.

The male wrestler that was pushed the most at the time was Bron Breakker, who is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner and nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner.

In the two plus years that Breakker has been featured in NXT, he has had two NXT Title reigns that saw him hold the championship for a total of 424 days, which is the second most of all-time. Breakker spent that entire run as a babyface NXT Champion.

After losing the NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver in April, Breakker turned heel for the first time and has been in that role for most of 2023.

Booker T has sat ringside for most of Bron Breakker’s NXT run. The two-time Hall of Famer Booker T spoke about Breakker on his Hall of Fame radio show while shockingly saying that he thinks Breakker could use another year in NXT.

“I’ve actually watched the maturity of Bron Breakker over this last year, how this kid has grown. When I see Bron Breakker, when Bron Breakker comes out, for some reason, it has a real feel to it. When he’s in the ring bringing the noise, it feels real. When he delivers, it feels real. So I love the growth of Bron Breakker.”

“As far as him going to the main roster and when do I perceive him actually making it to the main roster? I think it’s going to be within the next year. Let’s just say that. I would hope we will keep him for at least one more year. Let’s just say that. I would hope to keep Bron Breakker in NXT for just one more year.”

At 26 years of age, Bron Breakker has a very bright future in WWE and is considered one of the company’s biggest rising stars among wrestlers under 30 years old.
