Brock Lesnar’s Return Date; Next WWE Feud Potentially Revealed

Brock Lesnar WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar’s return may be just around the corner.

The Beast Incarnate was last seen at Survivor Series in the men’s WarGames match. Teaming up with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre, Lesnar played a massive role in winning the cage match.

The 48-year-old was seen in 2025 for the first time at SummerSlam after two years. He subsequently challenged John Cena, against whom he secured a squash win at Wrestlepalooza.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer, fans could see Lesnar back in the ring as soon as the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

This will be the first time in the premium live event’s history since 1988 that it is being hosted outside North America.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer further stated that WWE may be setting up a match between Lesnar and Gunther at WrestleMania 42.

He claimed that the company had previously discussed putting them in a match multiple times, only to scrap it later. The closest the two heavyweights came to fighting each other was at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

27-year-old Wrestler Named The Next Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is a 10-time WWE World Champion and has built an enviable legacy.

He was the first wrestler to beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, achieving the feat at the 2014 pay-per-view. Outside of wrestling, he is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

As fans anticipate his next return, another young superstar has built a stellar rapport.

According to American journalist Bill Apter, ex-NXT Champion Oba Femi will earn similar laurels as Brock Lesnar in the future.

Speaking on his 1WrestlingVideo podcast, Apter was all praise for the 27-year-old.

To me, the next Brock Lesnar is Oba Femi. The man was just the look. I haven’t seen fans take to a wrestler like and I hope they make him a monster heel because he against Lesnar, I think, would be incredible, and for him to go on a heel rampage and just destroy everybody, I think would be incredible.

Oba Femi relinquished his NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil on January 6, as he is headed for the main roster.
