A specific demand made by Brock Lesnar is reportedly causing issues backstage in WWE.

Since 2025, several reports have claimed that 2026 would be Lesnar’s final year in the business, with him potentially competing in his final match at SummerSlam.

On February 23, The Beast Incarnate made a rare appearance on Raw, accompanied by his advocate and WWE Hall of Famer, Paul Heyman.

During the segment, Heyman issued an open challenge on Lesnar’s behalf while announcing multiple dates during which the 48-year-old would be on Raw.

Brock Lesnar has been advertised for the March 16 taping in San Antonio, Texas.

Brock Lesnar Refusing To Lose Before WWE Retirement

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2025 after being away from the company for two years.

Ever since, he has competed in only 3 matches, including the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble match, which created quite the buzz, with Lesnar’s interaction with Oba Femi. A similar face-off had occurred between him and Gunther at the 2023 event.

Fans have been eager to see him be featured in a bout where he goes toe-to-toe with a younger superstar and putting them over before he walks into the sunset.

However, Lesnar and Paul Heyman have reportedly informed the WWE creative team that he should not lose any matches before his ultimate retirement.

This revelation came from Self Made Pro during a recent episode of the Self Made Sessions podcast.

So here’s the problem. They know that the audience wants Oba. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have essentially communicated to WWE and creative that Brock should not lose until his retirement.

That puts WWE in a tough spot because Triple H would like to book GUNTHER vs. Brock and Oba vs. Brock at some point. But if those matches happen, Brock would likely lose in both. So it creates a real dilemma. [H/T: Ringside News]
