BREAKING: Top Star Signs New Deal With Tony Khan’s AEW

AEW has many huge stars on their roster currently, with the likes of Jon Moxley, Toni Storm, Mercedes Mone, Andrade, and Kenny Omega, among others, plying their trade for the promotion.

This strengthened their women’s division even futher last May, when they signed Thekla to the All Elite promotion. The Toxic Spider had been one of the best wrestlers in Japan before signing for AEW.

Within the last year, she has grown phenomenally in the company. She leads her own stable and is the current AEW Women’s World Champion, having won the belt last month.

Thekla signs new deal with AEW

Following her meteoric rise in Tony Khan’s promotion, he has rewarded her with a new long-term contract. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has confirmed that Thekla has signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion.

She had signed a two-year contract with the All Elite promotion last year, but they offered her with a renewal after being impressed by her performances. While the exact length of the deal hasn’t been revealed yet, it is reported to be for multiple years.
