WWE made history with Clash in Italy as the promotion successfully hosted its first-ever Premium Live Event in Italy tonight, as the show aired from the Inalpi Arena in the capital city of Piedmont, Turin.

The match card was laden with title matches as four of the five matches on the night featured a title being put on the line. Two women’s title matches were featured on the card, the first of which saw Rhea Ripley retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

The second one featured Becky Lynch putting her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title on the line against Sol Ruca, just days after the former NXT Women’s North American Champion beat her at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Sol Ruca wins big in WWE Clash in Italy

Both Becky and Ruca haven’t been seeing eye-to-eye ever since the latter was called up to WWE RAW. Lynch interrupted Sol while she was signing her contract, and they’ve been at a crossroads ever since.

They wrestled an extremely high-paced match, which was expected given Sol’s wrestling style. Becky tried to slow her down on multiple occasions and event hit her with a Manhandle Slam, but it wasn’t enough.

Ultimately, it was Ruca’s night as she climed the turnbuckle as Becky was about to hit her with another Manhandle Slam, and hit the Sol Snatcher onto to the Irishwoman to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
