WWE Makes Major Sol Ruca Change After RAW Call-Up
Sol Ruca has made an impact since coming to the main roster, and WWE has now made a significant change for her.
Sol Ruca made a name for herself in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, where she won the NXT Women’s North American Championship and the Women’s Speed Championship.
She was bumped up to the main roster and got her debut at the Royal Rumble PLE in the women’s Rumble match in January. Ruca was one of the three finalists in the bout after entering at no.10 in what was one of the most impressive performances on the night.
Ruca made her Raw debut on the Raw after WrestleMania when she interrupted Liv Morgan, who was celebrating her Women’s World Title win fresh off ‘Mania, where she defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the gold.
An impromptu match then took place between the two, which was an exciting one, with Ruca even countering Liv’s Oblivion and landing the Sol Snatcher, her acclaimed finisher on Morgan. But an interference from Zaria, whom Ruca had been feuding with in NXT, led to her being pinned by Morgan following the distraction.
Ruca appeared this past Monday on Raw to sign an official contract to be a Raw superstar, but was interrupted by Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. Ruca cut a promo on Lynch, calling her a big-headed b*tch, and even said that not everything was about her. Lynch later got planted with the Sol Snatcher towards the end of the segment.
Sol Ruca Gets New Theme Music In WWE
Theme music is extremely important in pro-wrestling to help introduce a wrestler’s character and help a crowd pop.
WWE knows the importance of this, and their go-to artist for theme songs today, Def Rebel, has now created a track for Ruca.
A fan account shared the clip of her latest Raw entrance with the new music on X:
