Breaking: Ex-Divas Champion Returns On WWE SmackDown After 4 Years; Instantly Humiliated

A two-time Divas Champion finally made her return on WWE SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania.

During WrestleMania weekend, The Miz officiated weddings for WWE fans. The Awesome One was also featured in a comedy sketch on SmackDown, where he appeared to be renewing his vows with his wife, former Divas Champion Maryse.

While Kit Wilson officiated the ceremony, the couple was interrupted by Danhausen. Maryse appeared startled by the former AEW star, who claimed to be the ring boy, best man, and maid of honor.

Danhausen Curses Maryse On WWE SmackDown

After telling Danhausen he was not any of these things, Miz asked Wilson to do something. A nervous Wilson said, “You may now curse the bride,” before realizing his mistake. In response, Danhausen did exactly that and cursed Maryse.

The former WWE Champion then snapped and attacked Danhausen, grabbing him by the throat. However, he accidentally shoved him into Maryse, sending the two-time Divas Champion face-first into the cake.

Maryse’s last appearance on SmackDown came nearly four years ago. Meanwhile, she has been spotted in the crowd at several WWE events over the past few months, including Evolution II.
