Triple H Buries Major WWE Star On SmackDown Ahead Of WrestleMania
The WrestleMania edition of WWE SmackDown in Las Vegas, Nevada, served as the last stop on the Road to WrestleMania 42, and a scathing Randy Orton promo kicked off the night.
The Viper went off on his WrestleMania challenger, Cody Rhodes, before the first match on the night got the action underway, with a huge Street Fight taking place on the show.
For the last several weeks, the MFT and the Wyatt Sicks have been on each other’s throats, with the faction warfare between them turning ugly on multiple occasions.
The groups have traded the WWE Tag Team Championships and the Wyatt Lantern between them and faced off one final time tonight. They faced each other in an Eight-Man Tag Team Street Fight.
Solo Sikoa picks up the win on WWE SmackDown
Both factions created chaos in the ring with things becoming brutal between them. It seemed like the MFT will get the win after Solo took Uncle Howdy with a Splash from the top rope, but Joe Gacy saved he match with a Kendo Stick.
The MFT ultimately got the win over their rivals after Talla Tonga took Erick Rowan out of the equation. Tama Tonga did the heavy lifting for his side towards the end as he had Uncle Howdy set up on a plate after taking him out.
Tonga was about to for the Cutthroat, but Solo Siko swooped in to hit him with a Samoan Spike and pick up the win himself. This marked another loss of Uncle Howdy to Solo and his MFTs, which ended up hurting his image and credibility even more.
