Randy Orton Storms Off WWE SmackDown Following Scathing Rant On Cody Rhodes
WrestleMania weekend officially kicked off tonight as WWE hosted the WrestleMania edition of SmackDown live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the Road to WrestleMania 42 made one final stop.
The show was being hosted in the host city, and the card of tonight’s show featured many exciting segments, including the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale. Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton will take on Jordynne Grace in a number-one contender’s match for the US Title.
However, fans had to wait to witness those matches as Randy Orton kicked off the show ahead of his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes tomorrow night.
Randy Orton goes off on the Undisputed WWE Champion
He began his segment by stating that he doesn’t need Pat McAfee by his side; instead, he wants to have him by his side at the Show of Shows, as he does everything right, rather than Rhodes.
The Viper then called out Cody Rhodes, stating that all the American Nightmare has done is take from him. Orton claimed Pat McAfee has done more for his legacy than the American Nightmare, who has never given back anything to The Viper.
He referenced that the Undisputed WWE Champion never called on him for help while facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 or while facing Solo’s bloodline, and instead chose Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to be by his side, respectively. He ended the segment by claiming he will be the one standing tall tomorrow night before leaving the arena with McAfee.
