Booker T Names NXT Tag Team That Will “Make A Splash” On WWE Main Roster
Booker T believes a current WWE NXT tag team that will do very well on the WWE main roster when they get the opportunity to show what they can do.
When it comes to tag team wrestling, Booker T really knows what he’s talking about. After all, Booker was part of the legendary WWE Hall of Fame tag team known as Harlem Heat with his brother Steve Ray. Harlem Heat won the WCW Tag Team Titles ten times.
During his WWE career, Booker T won four more Tag Team Titles and that’s in addition to the six World Title wins in his illustrious career.
These days, Booker T is an announcer on NXT with Vic Joseph while Booker has his own wrestling school and promotion in Houston called Reality of Wrestling.
While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast recently, Booker T put over the Indus Sher tag team of Veer Mahaan and Sanga, who also have former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal as part of the act as well.
“I love those guys, Indus Sher. Those guys are so old school. They take me back to, Sanga and Veer, they take me back to what tag team wrestling once upon a time was and it was all about going out there and creating havoc.”
“I think Sanga and Veer could really make a splash on the main roster. Together that’s, that’s two big gears. I don’t need to have more than that.”
When Veer’s previous run on the main roster was brought up, Booker noted that
“The build up, it was way too long because we’ve already seen him before. We had already seen Veer, so it wasn’t like, and when we saw him the next time, it wasn’t like he was repackaged, he was the same guy.”
In their current NXT run, Indus Sher has been feuding with The Creed Brothers. The trio of Veer, Sanga & Mahal lost o The Creed Brothers and NXT Champion Bron Breakker this past week on NXT TV.
