Blake Monroe Makes Bold Claim About WWE Main Roster Move
Earlier this year, there were rumors about WWE potentially calling up Blake Monroe to the main roster.
In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo at the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest, Monroe was asked whether she had received any advice from female wrestlers on the main roster. Monroe responded with a bold statement, saying that the main roster is not ready for her.
Denise: Have you gotten any advice from the girlies on the main roster? Because I think everybody’s wondering when Blake is going to be like Raw or SmackDown-bound.
Monroe said, “Listen, the main roster is not ready for Blake Monroe.”
Natalya Reached Out To Blake Monroe To Give Her Valuable Advice
Blake Monroe then added that she indeed has received advice from several main roster stars. She said that Natalya gave her guidance and motivation to keep working hard toward eventually reaching the main roster.
Monroe added, “I definitely have. They’re so sweet. A lot of them have reached out. Especially Natty gave me a lot of great advice, and coming in, and she wouldn’t mind me sharing. But she just said, ‘You’re a real wrestler. You can wrestle, and you look beautiful, and you can talk, so show them.’
So I’m trying to take all their advice and make it happen. But I’m just taking every day as it comes, and patience is a virtue.” (From 3:16)
Earlier this week, Monroe also appeared on Notsam Wrestling with Sam Roberts, where she was asked about a potential call-up. Monroe said she is in no rush to move to the main roster, explaining that she is really enjoying her time in NXT.
She added that there are still many talented women she wants to face before making the jump to WWE’s main roster.
