Blake Monroe Makes Surprising Claim About Potential WWE Main Roster Call-Up
Blake Monroe was reportedly discussed to make a potential move to Raw or SmackDown earlier this year.
Monroe joined the NXT brand when she made her WWE debut in June 2025. Since then, she has shared the ring with several top stars on the brand, including Sol Ruca, Jordynne Grace, and Thea Hail. She is also a one-time NXT Women’s North American Champion.
Blake Monroe recently appeared on the February 22 edition of Notsam Wrestling, where she addressed the possibility of a WWE main roster call-up. She stated that she is currently enjoying her time in NXT and is not “fixated” on moving to the main roster.
“The goal is to excel where you’re at. I think people can get a little fixated on getting called up, but NXT is in a unique position. It’s attached to the Performance Center, so in some ways it’s developmental, but there are huge stars on it and we have a lot of viewers.”
“Just last week we had a loop in Washington, and I was in the gym when two kids ran up to me and said, ‘I love NXT. It’s my favorite show. Can we get a picture?’ That meant a lot. For some people, NXT is their favorite show.”
Blake Monroe Is In No Rush To Join The Main Roster
Blake Monroe added that she is in no rush to join Raw or SmackDown, as there are still many talented women in NXT that she wants to compete against.
“I don’t know why there’s always this mindset of, ‘I need to be called up.’ I’m not in any rush. I still have so much to do.”
“I’ve barely feuded with a lot of the women. Jordynne Grace took up a lot of my time, and now Jaida Parker is chasing me around, but there are still so many women I want to wrestle. I haven’t even gone after the main women’s title yet. There’s a lot left for me to accomplish, and I don’t look at it like I need to rush anywhere.”
