This WWE star joked about a black person who has gotten the better of Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar has earned the dubious reputation of stopping black wrestlers from gaining momentum.

The Beast Incarnate defeated Kofi Kingston within a matter of seconds on SmackDown in 2019, ending the latter’s WWE Title reign. He also won the WWE Championship by defeating Kingston’s then-faction-mate from New Day, Big E.

Now, Lesnar finds himself up against another massive black wrestler, Oba Femi.

WWE hyped Oba Femi in recent months with weekly vignettes on Raw to signal his arrival on the main roster from NXT. He put on an impressive show at Saturday Night’s Main Event against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in December when Femi was the NXT North American Champion.

He came face-to-face with Brock Lesnar briefly at the Royal Rumble this year, teasing a feud.

Oba Femi Jokes About The One Black Person Brock Lesnar Couldn’t Stop

In an appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Femi joked that Raheem was the only “black” wrestler Lesnar couldn’t stop alluding to The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes acknowledged his internet nickname, Raheem, on SmackDown last Friday. Cody Rhodes was responsible for defeating Brock Lesnar in two out of three bouts the pair had in 2023, and Oba Femi used this and the joke to say that he is one black man Lesnar couldn’t stop.

We have to remember, there’s one Black person that Brock was not able to stop his momentum. Raheem. Raheem was immune to Brock’s stuff. So, one win for us.

Oba also mentioned in the interview that his faceoff with Brock at the Rumble was to test the crowd’s reaction. Since it was largely positive, he said the two could meet again soon.
