Becky Lynch May Not Be The Only Star AJ Lee Faces At WWE WrestleMania 42

At WrestleMania 42, AJ Styles will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch.

Both superstars have been feuding since last September, when Lee returned to WWE after 10 years. Lee also made her presence felt on the November 17 episode of Raw, helping Maxxine Dupri beat Lynch for the IC title.

After a couple of months, ‘The Man’ retained her title, kick-starting her rivalry with Lee again. At Elimination Chamber, Lee defeated Lynch to become the Women’s IC Champion for the first time.

On last week’s Raw, they again came face-to-face in a heated segment after Becky Lynch claimed that her daughter was an AJ Lee admirer.

The former Divas Champion then offered to put her Intercontinental Championship on the line against Lynch at WrestleMania 42.

While the one-on-one match was officially sanctioned, another talent on the women’s roster hopes they could be added to the bout, turning it into a three-way affair.

Maxxine Dupri Wants To Face Becky Lynch & AJ Lee At WrestleMania

Since dropping the Women’s IC title, Maxxine Dupri’s road has been rough.

During her rematch for the title, she was betrayed by her mentor, Nattie. After brawling for a couple of weeks, the two wrestlers got a match on March 16, where Nattie won by submission.

While speaking on The Collection podcast recently, Dupri pitched the idea of adding herself to the Women’s Intercontinental Championship match between Becky Lynch and AJ Lee at WrestleMania.

If I could write it right now, I would turn that Women’s Intercontinental championship match between AJ Lee and Becky Lynch into a triple threat. That would be my dream.

To share the ring with AJ Lee would be unbelievable. She’s been such a wonderful mentor to me since returning to our locker room. It’s been so special. And, I have got a few hits I’d like to lay on Becky. I’ve got some pent-up aggression that I would like to unleash. [H/T: F4WOnline]
