Becky Lynch Handed A New Name In WWE

After losing the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at the Elimination Chamber premium live event last month, Becky Lynch returned to Monday Night Raw last week, where she attacked AJ Lee.

It happened after The Geek Goddess successfully defended her newly won title against Bayley in a singles match.

On this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw (March 23), Becky Lynch addressed the fans and her brutal attack on AJ Lee the previous week. She criticized the fans for cheering for Lee, whom she accused of abandoning them for a decade while she stayed to build the division.

Moments later, the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion cut off Lynch’s promo, and as she made her way to the ring, Lynch retreated into the crowd to avoid any harm.

AJ Lee Challenges Becky Lynch For A Title Rematch At WrestleMania 42

AJ mocked The Man for beating her during their past encounters and then issued a challenge for a title rematch at WrestleMania 42. She promised to make Becky Lynch tap out on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Becky Lynch accepted the challenge and left after taking a cheap shot at AJ Lee, reminding her that the last time she competed at WrestleMania, she resigned the very next day and disappeared for a decade.

Following their confrontation on Raw, WWE officially announced their WrestleMania matchup and even shared a poster on Instagram.

AJ Lee’s husband, CM Punk, took this moment to troll Becky. He shared the WrestleMania poster on his Instagram story and changed Becky Lynch’s name on the graphic to “Lunch” in an effort to mock her.
