Becky Lynch Escapes With Her Title After Former WWE Champion Answers Open Challenge On RAW
WWE WrestleMania 42 proved to be a successful night for The Man, Becky Lynch, who finally got the better of AJ Lee for the first time since her return and won back the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
She had been feuding with AJ Lee ever since the Black Widow returned to the promotion and suffered many losses at her hands before finding success at WrestleMania 42, albeit by questionable means.
With AJ Lee taking a short break for a little while now, it seems like Becky Lynch is moving on from AJ, as she came out to the ring tonight in Laredo, Texas, and issued an open challenge for her title.

Becky came out dressed to fight and put her title on the line in an impromptu match, calling out anyone from the locker room. She was taken up on her challenge by former Women’s World Champion, IYO SKY.
She seemed taken aback by SKY’s appearance and tried to get out of the match, but she was ultimately forced to defend her title after the RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, made the match official.
IYO SKY started the match on the front foot and was in control of the match from the moment the bell rang. Becky tried to surprise her with a Manhandle Slam, but SKY reversed it and followed it up with a powerbomb to Lynch on the outside.

Both women came close to winning the belt on multiple occasions, with IYO SKY even kicking out of a Manhandle Slam from Becky Lynch after the champion kicked out of a wicked backbreaker from IYO.
The Japanese star looked set to defeat Becky Lynch after getting the better of her and looked for a springboard attack from the apron. However, Asuka snuck up behind her and attacked her behind the referee’s back.
This cost her the match, and Becky hit another Manhandle Slam for the win before Asuka attacked an already down and out IYO SKY before trapping her in an Asuka lock and standing tall on WWE RAW.
