Huge Backstage Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future
A big update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE future has emerged.
2026 has been an interesting year for The Beast Incarnate. He competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, but failed to win the 30-man extravaganza in Saudi Arabia. Fast forward to WrestleMania 42, where he faced Oba Femi, and surprisingly, ended up suffering a defeat.
Lesnar then shocked the wrestling world by “retiring” at The Show of Shows. However, it proved to be a ruse as he made his WWE return on the May 18, 2026, episode of RAW and completely decimated The Ruler with four F5s.
That paved the way for Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi II at Clash in Italy on May 31. On the go-home episode of the red brand before the upcoming PLE, Femi warned Paul Heyman that he will “retire” the former Universal Champion once again, and in fact, “kill” him.
Ahead of the much-anticipated clash, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that Brock Lesnar is not wrapping up his WWE career after Clash in Italy. He is expected to make more appearances.
The insider, however, mentioned that, as of now, Lesnar is not scheduled to show up on the July 18, 2026, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden.

Big prediction made for Brock Lesnar’s match at WWE Clash in Italy
While speaking during an interview with ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike, Cody Rhodes shared his opinion on Brock Lesnar’s return to the sports entertainment juggernaut.
The American Nightmare stated he and the entire locker room, as a whole, are concerned by Lesnar coming back to the fold, as he is such an imposing figure and difficult to beat.
I was set that Brock had retired, and that’s good for me, because I got two victories on Brock. So, the idea that he retired, I can say I got those two victories. Now that I’m not sure really anymore. It concerns me. Brock concerns the entire locker room because he is such a presence. He’s so difficult to beat in any aspect of our game, and just an absolutely genius businessman and unbelievable, unbelievable athlete.
Having said that, Rhodes still predicted Oba Femi to get his second consecutive win over The Beast Incarnate at Clash in Italy.
But if you saw WrestleMania, I think Oba has got him again.
It remains to be seen what unfolds between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar in Turin.
