“It Concerns Me” – Top WWE Star Gives Honest Reaction To Brock Lesnar’s Return

Cody Rhodes says that Brock Lesnar’s WWE return concerns him. But why?

The Beast Incarnate teased retirement at WrestleMania 42 following his singles loss to Oba Femi. However, he made a surprise return on the May 18 episode of Monday Night Raw and attacked The Ruler, setting up a WrestleMania rematch for Clash in Italy this coming Saturday.

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar had a high-profile storyline in 2023, where they faced each other in three matches. Rhodes won the trilogy 2-1. The American Nightmare won the first match at Backlash 2023, while Lesnar won the second match at Night of Champions. Rhodes then closed the chapter by winning the third and final match at WWE SummerSlam 2023.

Cody Rhodes Doesn’t Want To Cross Paths With Brock Lesnar Again

The Undisputed WWE Champion recently appeared in an interview with ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike, where he gave his thoughts on Brock Lesnar’s return. Rhodes said that, like everyone else, he also believed that Lesnar had retired at Mania.

He then admitted that he is concerned about Lesnar returning to action because if they cross paths again, his 2-1 victory over The Beast Incarnate could be in jeopardy.

He said, “I was set that Brock had retired, and that’s good for me, because I got two victories on Brock. So, the idea that he retired, I can say I got those two victories. Now that I’m not sure really anymore. It concerns me. Brock concerns the entire locker room because he is such a presence. He’s so difficult to beat in any aspect of our game, and just an absolutely genius businessman and unbelievable, unbelievable athlete.”

Cody Rhodes also predicted the outcome of the Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar match at Clash in Italy. He stated that he believes “The Ruler” will rule over The Beast Incarnate once again.
