The daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Simone Johnson, has officially made her NXT debut, and not just that, but she also joined up with a faction.
Recently, TJR Wrestling reported on what Shawn Michaels said about Simone Johnson, who is known as Ava Raine in the squared circle, and when she could potentially make her debut in WWE’s developmental brand of NXT.
During a NXT Halloween Havoc media call, “The Heartbreak Kid” has this to say:
“Both [Ava Raine and Valorie Loureda] are coming along great. In my opinion, 2023 for sure, but they’re both getting awfully darn close, so certainly might from a live event standpoint. We do a lot of obviously stuff here in the Performance Center, but yeah, easily both of them, maybe by the end of the year, but absolutely 2023 and certainly in the future. So they’re very close.”
If Shawn Michaels’ plan was to keep everyone in the dark, which was noted to be a strategy in our previous report, then it was perfected into Tuesday night, when Ava Raine was shockingly revealed to fans. Not only would she officially make her debut in NXT, but she would also become a member of the Schism faction led by Joe Gacy.
