WrestleMania 42 Night Two provided a huge shocker for the WWE Universe just minutes into the show as they were forced to say goodbye to one of the promotion’s biggest stars in Brock Lesnar.

The Beast Incarnate took on former NXT Champion, Oba Femi, in the opening match of the night and suffered a quick loss to the Ruler in what turned out to be his last WWE match.

Lesnar took off his gloves and boots right after losing to Femi and left them in the ring, before walking away with Paul Heyman, without saying a word, indicating his in-ring retirement.

Brock Lesnar’s rival says goodbye to the WWE Universe

However, as it turns out, Brock wasn’t the only WWE legend the fans were saying goodbye to tonight in Las Vegas, as one of his most iconic rivals, John Cena, also said goodbye to the fans.

Cena was the host for WrestleMania 42, and his last act of the night saw him announce the attendance for tonight, just like he did last night. Following the announcement, he cut a promo before being interrupted by The Miz and Kit Wilson.

Before the duo came out, though, John Cena said that with the attendance announcement, his duties as the host of WrestleMania came to an end, confirming that he’s going away from the Stamford-based promotion once again following the Show of Shows.
