Andrade Wins First Championship After Controversial WWE Exit
Andrade is once again a champion, this time outside WWE.
The 35-year-old was unceremoniously released from the Stamford promotion on September 13 following multiple disciplinary issues.
Apparently, one of the incidents even witnessed him being escorted from the arena during a SmackDown taping.
Andrade’s last wrestling match in World Wrestling Entertainment was during SummerSlam, where he teamed up with Rey Fenix to compete for the Tag Team Championships in a 6-team TLC match.
He had returned to the company from AEW during the 2024 Royal Rumble match.
On October 3, El Idolo competed at The Crash Lucha Libre event in Tijuana, Mexico, challenging DMT Azul, the promotion’s heavyweight champion.
In doing so, he prevented Azul from accomplishing 900 days as the champion.

Andrade Enters History Books With AEW Return
As fans of the Mexican star wondered what was next for him, Andrade shockingly returned to All Elite Wrestling on the October 1 Dynamite episode.
In the opening match, Kenny Omega teamed up with Brodido to defeat The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander.
After the match, Omega addressed the Florida crowd, and just when he bid them adieu, the lights in the arena went out.
When the lights came up, a masked Andrade stood behind the Canadian wrestler, ready to strike, and he did just that after revealing his identity. He also joined The Don Callis Family in the process.
As a result, El Idolo has now become the first wrestler to go from WWE to AEW to WWE to AEW.
He has also set his sights on Kenny Omega as his next target.
In other news, a wrestling personality has explained why signing him is a mistake for AEW.
