Andrade has reportedly departed WWE.

The SmackDown star and former NXT Champion has been recently missing from TV despite his successful tag team run with Rey Fenix.

The duo also competed in the highly acclaimed 6-team Tables-Ladders-Chairs match at SummerSlam, but came up short in winning the title from The Wyatt Sicks.

According to the latest update, Andrade has been added to WWE’s alumni page on its official website, signaling his departure from the promotion.

It was his second stint with the Stamford promotion after returning from All Elite Wrestling in 2024.

He initially signed with the company in 2015, making his debut at NXT TakeOver: Dallas in April.

Andrade made his main roster debut three years later on SmackDown, appearing alongside Zelina Vega.

After being drafted to RAW in 2019, he defeated Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at a house show in Madison Squared Garden. This would be his only title win on the main roster.

Andrade Not On WWE’s Internal Injury List

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confirmed that Andrade had left WWE two years after making his return at the 2024 Royal Rumble for a second stint.

He also verified that the Mexican star was not on the promotion’s injury list.

Fightful was told in August that Andrade was not on the company’s internal injury list, when we asked about him not being booked for a certain match, we were told ‘if it was possible, he would be. [H/T: The Takedown on SI]

As of this moment, not much is known about the reason behind his departure. It is also unclear whether he asked to be released or the company made the final call. It is also a possibility that his contract has ended.
