Andrade Makes History With Shocking AEW Comeback
Andrade has rejoined AEW after his recent departure from WWE.
The Stamford promotion quietly moved the Mexican star to its alumni page on September 13, signaling his exit.
While it did not release any official statement, it was revealed that there were multiple disciplinary issues. In fact, during one taping, he was escorted from the building by security.
Andrade’s last bout for WWE was at SummerSlam, where he teamed up with Rey Fenix to compete in a 6-team TLC tag match, challenging for The Wyatt Sicks’ Tag Team Championship.
He returned to the company during the 2024 Royal Rumble after leaving AEW, which he had joined in June 2021 after being granted his WWE release in March of 2021.
The 35-year-old has now made history by becoming the first wrestler to go from WWE to AEW to WWE to AEW, as he appeared on the October 1 episode of Dynamite and attacked Kenny Omega.

AEW Cautioned After Re-Signing Andrade
Andrade El Idolo’s return may have brought cheers from the audience, but one wrestling personality believes that AEW may be asking for trouble with his re-signing.
Dave Meltzer discussed El Idolo’s return to the Florida promotion during a recent Wrestling Observer Radio episode, where he revealed the issue with it.
As people who know Andrade have told me, he’ll always think of Tony Khan as secondary to WWE, no matter what. We’re asking for trouble. That’s what I expected.
I know the guy can wrestle but they have so many guys that can wrestle that don’t even get a lot of time because so many guys are great wrestlers. And so many of these guys that are great wrestlers, they’re not fixing or wanting to go to WWE because WWE’s better or the last time they were there it was tough to do business with them, they had outside the ring problems. I always think burn me once, learn a lesson. This was not a lesson learned.
Elsewhere, El Idolo addressed his AEW return with one word.
