Andrade Returns To AEW On Dynamite, Attacks Top Star

Andrade AEW Return

Andrade is back in AEW, and he has already attacked one of the company’s biggest names.

The opening match on AEW Dynamite’s 6th Anniversary episode was a six man tag team match. The team of Brodido – Brody King & Bandido and Kenny Omega defeated The Young Bucks – Matt & Nick Jackson and Josh Alexander by pinfall when Omega hit a One Winged Angel on Alexander for the win.

After the match, Josh Alexander attacked Kenny Omega, so the Jurassic Express duo of Jack Perry and Luchasaurus made the save. Omega argued with Perry. Jurassic Express fought with The Young Bucks to the back.

Kenny Omega spoke about six years of AEW Dynamite, and he said that you can take pride in the journey. Omega thanked the fans for the support, whether it’s been six years or one day, and he said he’s a better person for it. Omega signed off with his catchphrase, but then the lights went out in the building.

When the lights came back on, former WWE superstar Andrade was in the ring with a mask on. Andrade clotheslined Omega and hit a lifting double underhook neckbreaker. Don Callis went into the ring and shook hands with Andrade, so it appears as though Andrade has joined the Don Callis Family.

Andrade Returns To AEW After Second WWE Departure

For the second time in his pro wrestling career, Andrade was released by WWE on September 13th. At the time, Andrade was part of the SmackDown brand and teaming up with Rey Fenix.

The first time Andrade worked for WWE was from 2015 until March 2021 and then again from January 2024 until this September 2025. Andrade’s WWE departure was due to disciplinary reasons for attitude issues, and the company chose to fire him, so it wasn’t a case of him requesting a release.

In between his two WWE runs, Andrade worked for AEW from June 2021 until the end of 2023. Now he’s back in AEW for a second run.
